Victorian Window Bench

Probably one of the nicest Victorian bench or window seat we have seen in a while. Perfect form with real appeal. This is a Victorian two-seater window seat, ideal for a lounge, hallway, bedroom or snug.

The bench has been hand-crafted, probably dated to the mid-1800s. Dowel construction with no screws or nails used; the bench is constructed from beech and ash. Hand-turned stretchers, fret work on the backrest set this off as a very special piece of furniture.

The bench has been professionally reupholstered with new support straps and padding. The fabric chosen is a tapestry-style cotton and silk material with a fruit design depicting lemons, oranges, and plums.

An incredibly stylish item of furniture in a compact size, ideal for any room. The bench measures...

120 cm wide

55 cm deep

44 cm seat height

90 cm high
