Singer Sewing Machine in a Walnut Cabinet
A rare item indeed, especially in this condition. Produced by The Singer Sewing machine company circa 1909 this is a beautiful cabinet.
Cabinet is made from walnut throughout with a large number of drawers and access panels. Top lifts to reveal the machine hidden in the body of the cabinet, this is released by a button activating the bellows that assist the machine upwards to the working position.
Inside is a cast iron frame with a treadle pedal to work the machine. The workmanship is stunning even if you don’t like sewing!
Thanks for looking.....
