Stunning Globe Wernicke Sectional Bookcase from the early 1900's. 
 
Finished in solid oak, each section has the original hinges, glass and closing mechanism. Four glass fronted sections sit on a solid oak plinth with a solid oak top finishing the item. 
 
The Globe-Wernicke Company was formed as a result of the Cincinnati based Globe Files Company (est. in 1882) purchasing the Minneapolis based Wernicke Company, founded in 1893 by Otto Wernicke, in 1899. The company is best known for their high-end bookcases, Desks, and other office furniture.
 
Fantastic original condition, now a rare item that would look in great in any room location.
