An original and stunning Globe bookcase with a gentle aged patina. Now becoming a rare and interesting investors piece the Globe Wernicke sectional barristers bookcase is a fine example of craftmanship from a bygone age. A useful and practical addition to any home.
Finished in solid oak with original varnish finish that has a gentle worn patina. All three sections are glass fronted and open up with the use of the famous Wernicke scissor action mechanism. Brass knobs sit on the front of each section to enable smooth opening. To the base is a wide drawer with a beautiful carved front and brass drop handles.
